I met with Zoe and Thomas in advance of their wedding day to look around the location, do some test shots and agree the style of photography and any special requests. The location was fantastic especially as there was a ruined abbey just 5 minutes walk from the Abbey House Hotel Barrow in Furness. On the day everything went to plan with the shots of Zoe getting ready and then the ceremony. When it came to do the main shots, the heavens opened and the rain came down. In these situations I always take studio flash so I can take pictures indoors. They never convey the same outdoor feeling but they can still be creative. Luckily we had a break n the weather and Zoe and Thomas were happy to walk to the Abbey where we got some great shots.
