Paul and Kayleigh’s wedding photography was a real pleasure to be a part of. The weather was fantastic, the dress was amazing and everyone rose to the occasion.
We met about 4 months before the wedding to discuss their plans, including who would be attending and key family members to photograph. We also looked at examples of my previous work to help them decide on the style of photography. Like most couples, they gave me a free hand to do a mixture of natural style pictures plus a few formal pictures, just to make sure we photographed them alongside important people in their lives.
Superb traditional wedding
The wedding took place at St Chads Church in Poulton Le Fylde, which is a superb location. The church interior is very traditional and the grounds around the church are perfect for wedding photography. On the day the weather was fantastic with sunlight streaming through the trees to create some truly stunning lighting.
It was quite different from other weddings, because Kayleigh and Paul only lived within walking distance to the church. So Kayleigh and her bridesmaids walked to the church. All of the guests were dressed immaculately and the ceremony was very moving. After the wedding ceremony had finished we took the main photographs in the church grounds, which is always a bonus especially when they are this good. On finishing the photographs and I was happy with the results, all of the guests walked to the reception which was only 5 minutes away, whereas Paul and Kayleigh had a spectacular car to take them there. It was a relaxed and fun day, plus an absolute pleasure to work alongside Paul and Kayleigh to provide them with an album of long lasting memories.
